Welcome to the Charles Lea Center

For over 35 years Spartanburg and The Charles Lea Center have worked together to build a supportive community for people with disabilities and special needs where they live, work and play.

As one of the largest nonprofit in Spartanburg County, The Charles Lea Center supports over 1,400 people with mental retardation and related disabilities, autism and head and spinal cord injuries.

With help from the community, the Center strives to offer the individuals it supports a true quality of life.
